Walbottle Academy

Walbottle Academy is in Newcastle NE15 9TP and joined Northern Education Trust in September 2020 after an Ofsted Special Measures judgement In February 2019. The academy is now moving forward a pace and improvements are seen and felt by all. Students, staff, parents/carers and governors are keen to get on with improvements for better outcomes. The Blyth Academy & Thorp Academy

The Blyth Academy post code NE24 4JP Northumberland and Thorp Academy post code NE40 3AH Ryton two thriving secondary academies within Northern Education Trust in the North East are looking through their succession planning to recruit further new governors. They are fully supported with an internal governance clerk and central HR and finance support. The local governing body is known as a Combined Academy Council for the two academies and meets once every half term. In addition, once every term there is a meeting of all Chairs of governors with the CEO and Deputy CEO with a co-constructed agenda.

Badger Hill Primary & Whitecliffe Primary Academy

Badger Hill Primary Academy post code TS12 2XR and Whitecliffe Primary Academy post code TS13 4AD two thriving primary academies within Northern Education Trust in Saltburn by the Sea are looking through their succession planning for 2 new governors. They are fully supported with a LA governance clerk and central HR and finance support. The local governing body is known as a Combined Academy Council for the two academies and meets once every half term. In addition, once every term there is a meeting of all Chairs of governors with the CEO and Deputy CEO with a co-constructed agenda.

Hilton Primary Academy

Hilton a thriving primary academy within Northern Education Trust in Newcastle. Fully supported with a LA governance clerk and central HR and finance support. The local governing body is known as an Academy Council and meets once every half term. In addition, once every term there is a meeting of all Chairs of governors with the CEO and Deputy CEO with a co-constructed agenda.

Freebrough Academy

Freebrough secondary academy who joined Northern Education Trust in September 2019, has been working with a small discrete governing body and now is ready to widen the membership and develop into an Academy Council. This is fully supported with a LA governance clerk. The local governing body is known as an Academy Council and meets once every half term. In addition, once every term there is a meeting of all Chairs of governors with the CEO and Deputy CEO with a co- constructed agenda.

Abbey Park Primary & Mount Pellon Primary Academies

Northern Education Trust is looking to invite new governors to join a Combined Academy Council of two primary academies: Abbey Park Primary Academy HX2 9DG Halifax and Mount Pellon Primary Academy HX1 4RG Halifax. Both academies have a Good Ofsted judgement and are looking to continue their development and improvement to Outstanding.
